Out of all the professions that exist, acting is probably among the most temporary. The rate and frequency of booking jobs depends on both an individual’s ability as well as having to prove they are a better fit than the other people auditioning against them.

With that in mind, some of the most well-known and beloved stars have stepped out of the limelight for their own reasons.

What does this mean? Well, first of all, it shows they are not fully reliant on acting to make their way in the world. They may have wanted to pursue other passions between jobs or simply decided acting was not for them anymore.

Either way, here are some examples.
