What Projects Has Jennifer Morrison Been In, Besides Once Upon A Time?

To the legions of loyal “Oncers” worldwide, Jennifer Morrison will likely forever be known as Emma Swan, the lead character on ABC’s fantasy fairy tale series Once Upon A Time.

The show aired from 2011 to 2018, with Morrison starring in the first six seasons.

Both before and after stepping foot into Storybrooke, Morrison has had roles in a variety of other successful projects. This encompasses both film and television.

Read on to find out more about where you might recognise Morrison from.

    “House” (2004-2012)

    Image: FOX

Morrison played a doctor, Allison Cameron, in the FOX medical drama House, which aired for eight seasons. For the first three years, Cameron was an underling to the title character, Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), working alongside Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps) and Dr. Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer).

In the later years, Cameron transitioned into a more senior position within the same hospital. House assembled a new diagnostics team during seasons four through eight.

While the show ran for eight years, Morrison exited early, during the sixth season. Although no longer a regular cast member, she appeared as a guest star in the series finale, “Everybody Dies”.

    “Star Trek” (2009)

    Image: Paramount

Morrison appeared, alongside a pre-Thor Chris Hemsworth, in the opening scene of J.J. Abrams’ 2009 Star Trek film.

Rather than boarding the USS Enterprise, Morrison played Winona Kirk, the mother of Chris Pine’s James T. Kirk.

Besides Morrison, Hemsworth and Pine, the film also featured an ensemble cast including Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho and Simon Pegg, as well as the late Anton Yelchin and Leonard Nimoy.

    “Warrior” (2011)

    Image: Lionsgate

Morrison played a supporting role in Warrior, a mixed martial arts-based film released in 2011.

The lead cast members were Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte.

In the role of Tess Conlon, Morrison played the wife to Edgerton’s Brendan. He is a teacher who takes part in a prestigious, highly competitive mixed martial arts contest in order to win the prize money and help his financially struggling family.

“How I Met Your Mother” (2010-2014)

    Image: CBS

Bridging the gap between leaving House and beginning Once Upon A Time, Morrison had a recurring role as Zoey Pierson in the sixth season of How I Met Your Mother.

Zoey was an activist who became the latest in a long line of girlfriends for Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor), in his quest to find the mother of his children.

In total, Morrison played Zoey in thirteen episodes between 2010 and 2014, returning for small appearances after season six.

“This Is Us” (2019 – present)

    Image: NBC

Since its fourth season, Morrison has recurred as military veteran Cassidy Sharp on NBC’s family drama This Is Us.

The majority of Morrison’s scenes, by virtue of her storyline, are with Justin Hartley and Griffin Dunne, who play Kevin Pearson and Nicky Pearson, respectively.

Following past projects including Once Upon A Time, Warrior and Star Trek, Morrison once again portrays a mother.

Outside of acting, Morrison has also directed a feature film, television episodes and short films. This includes the HBO series Euphoria starring Zendaya, as well as short film “Warning Labels” and the 2017 comedy drama “Sun Dogs.”

  • God Friended Me: Learn More About Brandon Micheal Hall (Miles Finer)

God Friended Me: Learn More About Brandon Micheal Hall (Miles Finer)

God Friended Me concluded its two season run on April 26 and with this ending, the show bid farewell to the main characters – Miles, Cara, Rakesh, Ali, Arthur and Trish.

While Miles will no longer be around, the actor who played him, Brandon Micheal Hall, will continue on his career which includes resuming his role as Julian on Search Party.

You may have grown to love Miles Finer throughout God Friended Me. Unless you know him in real life, Brandon Micheal Hall is surely a mystery to you.

Read on to find out more behind God Friended Me’s star.

Although Miles Finer was born and raised in New York City, Hall himself hails from Anderson, South Carolina. His birthday is February 3, 1993.

Like Miles, Hall is also the child of a preacher, his mother, unlike Miles’ situation where his father is the religious official.

For his acting training, Hall studied at the prestigious Julliard School, graduating in 2015 with a BFA in drama. Their alumni also includes Val Kilmer, Oscar Isaac, Christopher Reeve, Patti LuPone, Tim Blake Nelson and Elizabeth McGovern, among many others.

As alluded to earlier, Hall had starred on two other television series prior to landing the role of Miles on God Friended Me.

He plays Julian Marcus, a journalist, on the dark comedy series Search Party, starring alongside Arrested Development‘s Alia Shawkat and Stranger Things guest star John Reynolds.

This show was recently renewed for its third and fourth seasons, set to air on HBO Max.

Hall also played rapper-turned-mayor Courtney Rose on the ABC sitcom The Mayor before that show’s cancellation in 2018.

His co-stars on The Mayor included Glee star Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) who played Val Barella, a former classmate of Courtney’s as well as Drake and Josh/Community actress Yvette Nicole Brown (Helen/Shirley) as Dina, Courtney’s mother.

Now that Hall’s time playing Miles has come to an end, what he does next (aside from Search Party) remains to be seen.

  • 10 Things You Didn’t Know About Once Upon A Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White)

10 Things You Didn’t Know About Once Upon A Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White)

And no, her marriage to a certain Mr. Dallas isn’t on the list…

Since starting her career, Ginnifer Goodwin has successfully made a name for herself as an actress.

From 2005 to 2017, she had an eleven year stint of being employed on a television show with five years on Big Love and six on Once Upon A Time, returning for the latter series’ finale following her exit at the conclusion of the previous season.

Read on for ten things you may not have known about Ginnifer Goodwin.

    Ginnifer Isn’t Her Birth Name

While Ginnifer is certainly a unique name, it was not the one that Goodwin was given at birth.

Instead, she was originally known by the more common spelling, Jennifer.

Goodwin changed the spelling of her first name to reflect the pronunciation in her local dialect, which is Memphis, Tennessee.

    Voiced A Famous Animated Character

While many actors rely on their face in order to be recognised by fans, Goodwin has also lent her voice to a memorable character.

She voiced the lead role of Judy Hopps in the 2016 film Zootopia, starring opposite Arrested Development and Ozark star Jason Bateman.

She Knew Her Onscreen Daughter Before ‘Once Upon A Time’

In the pilot of Once Upon A Time, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is shown meeting the residents of Storybrooke, including Goodwin’s Mary Margaret, for the first time.

However, in real life, the actors had already known each other for some time, with Goodwin even buying a Grimm fairy tale book as a introductory gift when the pair first met.

RELATED: Once Upon A Time: Other Projects Where You’ve Seen (or Heard) 13 Cast Members

She Studied Acting In The UK

Although Goodwin was born and raised in the United States, the actress revealed during a May 2019 appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden that she had studied at some of the most well-regarded schools in the country.

Later in the interview, Goodwin further elaborated by saying that she had failed a “clowning” class at one of the unidentified schools.

Has An Oscar Win To Her Name

While Goodwin has yet to win an Academy Award for a performance, one of the prestigious awards is attached to her career in another way.

Zootopia won Best Animated Feature at the 2017, with the award being presented to the co-directors, Bryan Howard and Rich Moore as well as producer Clark Spencer.

The Part Of Snow White Was Written For Her

Goodwin played the role of Snow White/Mary Margaret Blanchard from the pilot episode of Once Upon A Time.

As it turns out, this was exactly what co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz had been hoping for.

Being fans of Big Love, the pair had written the part specifically for Goodwin.

RELATED: Could Any ‘Once Upon A Time’ Alumni Join Josh Dallas On NBC’s ‘Manifest’ ?

Goodwin And Her “Grandson” Are Relatively Close In Age

While Snow White on Once Upon A Time is a mother and grandmother, a near three decade long curse left her ageless throughout that time. As a result, it looks and sound completely implausible, from a real world perspective, that she could fill either role.

In particular, Goodwin is twenty-two years older in real life than Jared S. Gilmore, who plays her on-screen grandson Henry.

Had Another ABC Pilot Lined Up After ‘Once’ Ended

Shortly before Once Upon A Time‘s series finale ended, it was announced that Goodwin would be returning to ABC in their comedy pilot titled Steps.

However, the project was later reworked into a television movie rather than series, so the return to the network never came to fruition.

Played Two Similarly Named Characters In A Row

As previously mentioned, Goodwin spent five years playing a character named Margene on HBO’s Big Love.

After moving on to a brand new project – Once Upon A Time – she ended up being cast a similarly named character — Mary Margaret, not counting the Snow White component of the character.

Clearly names starting with ‘Mar’ are Goodwin’s good-luck charm.

She Has Been Mistaken For Jennifer Morrison

Long before starring on Once Upon A Time together, Ginnifer Goodwin was mistaken for her future onscreen daughter Jennifer Morrison on occasion.

Although the resemblance is less obvious in their show, with Morrison’s hair being its natural blonde.

Casting them as a time-displaced mother and daughter seems to be fitting.

  • ‘The Flash’ Confirms Two Character Deaths – But Is It Really The End?

Image result for harry and jesse the flash

The Flash returned from its long-awaited post Crisis back half and started setting up a completely different story than the Bloodwork (Sendhil Ramamurthy) arc earlier in the season.

However, I’d like to address a specific moment in the episode, the first of The Flash to fully take place on the new Earth-Prime. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) confirmed long-time Team Flash ally Harry Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and his daughter, speedster Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) as being casualties of the catastrophic event which was set in motion by Harry’s doppelganger Nash (also Cavanagh).

Since 2018, Violett Beane has held a starring role on the CBS series God Friended Me as journalist Cara Bloom. The part of Jesse on The Flash was only ever a recurring gig, which meant that Beane has appeared less often in more recent seasons.

Cavanagh, as alluded to, plays multiple iterations of the Harrison Wells character including the Reverse Flash in disguise, meaning he is still a series regular on the show.

After Tuesday’s episode aired, Beane used Instagram to pay tribute to Jesse, the fans and Cavanagh. This seemingly reinforces the notion that Harry and Jesse are truly gone.

Image result for jesse and wally the flash

However, there are other factors to take into account. Namely, Barry Allen and the other characters are currently unaware that a new multiverse has been created, meaning it’s entirely possible that Harry and Jesse are alive on another Earth, should Oliver Queen have resurrected them.

Secondly, of all the Wells doppelgangers to have appeared on The Flash, Harry has had the longest stint and thus remembered most fondly by the fans. It is extremely unlikely that such a tenured character would be sent-off with a vague off-screen death. I smell a twist coming…

The upcoming thirteenth episode is titled Grodd Friended Me which is a reference to Beane’s current show. There may be a possibility of an appearance for the pair as well as Gorilla Grodd.

Whatever showrunner Eric Wallace and his team of writers decide, remember that The Flash exists deep in a world of fantasy. As long as Tom Cavanagh is employed on the show, there’s a good chance of seeing Harry and Jesse again.

  • Meet the Cast of ‘Young Sheldon’

Image result for young sheldon cast

Young Sheldon has aired on CBS since September 2017, as a prequel to the very popular, widely known The Big Bang Theory, which ran for twelve seasons on the same network.

Now that we are three seasons deep into Young Sheldon and the world of Medford, Texas, you are probably very familiar with the characters and their backstories, right?

How about the actors that bring them to life? Here is a little more to know about them.

    sheldon cooper – iain armitage

Image result for sheldon cooper young sheldon

Iain Armitage, now aged 11, portrays the titular character, succeeding Jim Parsons from Big Bang, although the latter narrates the prequel series as an older Sheldon.

Armitage is the son of fellow actor Euan Morton, who has played King George in Hamilton on Broadway since July 2017. He has his own YouTube channel, where he reviews theatre performances.

On his mother’s side, he is the grandson of naval officer Richard Lee Armitage.

Prior to starring in Young Sheldon, Armitage was best known for playing Ziggy in Big Little Lies.

    Mary Cooper – zoe perry

Image result for mary cooper young sheldon

Actress Zoe Perry portrays Sheldon’s mother in Young Sheldon. Interestingly, she is the daughter of Laurie Metcalf, who played the character in Big Bang. Perry auditioned for the role, despite the familial link.

Her father is Jeff Perry, known as Cyrus Beene on Scandal.

Prior to starring as Mary, Perry had roles as a younger version of her mother’s character in Roseanne and appearances in Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice and Scandal.

George cooper sr – lance barber

Image result for george cooper sr

Lance Barber plays Sheldon’s father George Sr., who, spoiler alert, has passed away by the events of The Big Bang Theory. He previously played an unrelated character in the aforementioned show.

With more than twenty years of acting professionally, some of Barber’s roles include films such as Gangster Squad and Leatherheads as well as guest starring stints in varied shows such as Gilmore Girls, Californication, Grey’s Anatomy, Black-ish, The Mentalist, How I Met Your Mother and Masters of Sex.

Although he plays a Texan in Young Sheldon, Barber hails from Battle Creek, Michigan in real life.

    Meemaw – annie potts

Image result for meemaw young sheldon

Veteran actress Annie Potts takes over from June Squibb as MeeMaw, Sheldon’s beloved maternal grandmother.

You may recognise Potts from live action film roles in Pretty In Pink, Ghostbusters II and Jumpin’ Jack Flash. In animation, Potts voiced Bo Peep in Toy Story and two of its sequels (2 and 4, to be exact).

At the age of 21, Potts broke nearly all in her waists in a severe car accident.

Potts has been married four times, with her most recent spouse being James Hayman, a producer, director and cinematographer whom she wed in 1990.

george cooper jr – montana jordan

Image result for georgie young sheldon

Montana Jordan, 16, stars in the role of George Cooper Jr, known as Georgie. Like his character, Jordan was born and raised in the state of Texas.

Aside from Young Sheldon, Jordan starred opposite Josh Brolin in The Legacy of Whitetail Deer Hunter, which was filmed in 2015 and released three years later.

In 2018, he appeared alongside co-stars Iain Armitage and Lance Barber in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, when the present-day characters watch a tape from Sheldon’s childhood.

    missy cooper – raegan revord

Image result for missy cooper young sheldon

San Diego native Raegan Revord plays Sheldon’s more popular twin sister Missy. Like Iain Armitage, her on-screen twin, she is also eleven years of age, although Revord is six months older.

Revord has also appeared in Modern Family, Grace and Frankie as well as numerous commercials.

    tam – ryan phuong

Image result for tam young sheldon

Ryan Phuong plays Tam, Sheldon’s childhood best friend, who appeared as an adult late in Big Bang Theory’s run.

Young Sheldon appears to be Phuong’s biggest role to date with his other roles including episodes of Shameless (Showtime) and The Thundermans (Nickelodeon).

Phoung’s Instagram tells us that he also has an interest in dancing and boxing, besides acting.

  • Who Voices The Many Characters On Futurama?

    Image result for futurama characters

Considering that Futurama had such a large, eclectic collection of characters, you may be surprised that these roles were played primarily by only eight core cast members, with various guests over the years.

The eight-strong principal cast was talented to such a level that they could create the illusion that certain characters were played by completely different people, especially when they didn’t sound alike.

Let’s take a look at the faces behind some of the more well-known and beloved characters in the series.

billy west – fry, professor farnsworth, zoidberg, others

    Image result for billy west

Veteran voice actor Billy West, whose voice you may recognise from Space Jam (Bugs Bunny) or Ren and Stimpy (initially Stimpy, then both title characters) played many characters including Philip J. Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Doctor Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan, Richard Nixon’s head and Leo Wong.

Some of his other roles on the show include Smitty (human police officer), Enos Fry and Lars Fillmore, a central character in Bender’s Big Score.

In fact, West voices so many characters, both primary and peripheral, that he often ends up having conversations with himself (in character) while recording the series.

    katey sagal – leela

    Image result for katey sagal

An on-camera actress by trade who is recognisable for Married With Children (Peggy Bundy) and Sons of Anarchy (Gemma Teller).

Sagal solely voices Leela or characters related to her such as Alternate Leela and Leelabot, due to not having the vocal ability to create different voices.

john dimaggio – bender, elzar, url, others

John DiMaggio is a highly prolific voice actor who has starred in Gears of War (Marcus Fenix), Kim Possible (Doctor Drakken) and Adventure Time (Jake the Dog), to name just a few.

On Futurama, his biggest role is Bender, though he has also played Elzar, Flexo (obviously), Yancy Fry Sr. (Fry’s father), Mr Panucci, Igner, Randy and URL (robot police officer), among others.

maurice lamarche – kif, calculon, others

Maurice LaMarche has lent his voice to The Brain on both Pinky and the Brain and Animaniacs as well as providing various voices for The Simpsons since 1995.

On Futurama, he played Kif Kroker, Calculon, Donbot, Walt, Morbo, Lrr, the Anthology of Interest continuity announcer as well as multiple minor characters.

lauren tom – amy, Jrr, Inez Wong

You may recognise Lauren Tom’s face from live-action appearances on Friends (Julie) or Disney’s Andi Mack (Celia, the title character’s grandmother).

On Futurama, she voiced intern Amy Wong and her mother Inez as well as minor characters such as Jrr, Pramala and Sam.

phil lamarr – hermes, Ethan ‘bubblegum’ tate, others

Phil LaMarr has played the title character on Samurai Jack, appeared on MadTV and voices both Ollie Williams and the African-American judge on Family Guy.

On Futurama, he voices Jamaican bureaucrat Hermes Conrad, with supporting characters including Ethan ‘Bubblegum’ Tate, Hermes’ son Dwight, and multiple Heads in Jars such as Carl Weathers, Billy Crystal and Kurt Russell.

tress macneille – mom, Linda, turanga munda, others

MacNeille has voiced multiple Simpsons characters such as Agnes Skinner as well as Crazy Cat Lady.

Her many Futurama voices consist of but are not limited to; Mom, newsreader Linda, Dr Cahill, Turanga Munda and Fry’s mother.

david herman – scruffy, ogden wernstrom

Herman is probably best known for his live action role as Michael Bolton in Office Space and has worked prolifically in animation on King of the Hill, Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers despite Futurama, on which he became a regular after guest appearances.

His roles on the show include janitor Scruffy, rival scientist Ogden Wernstrom, “Sweet” Clyde Dixon, Larry, Turanga Morris and scammer Nudar.

Other actors on Futurama include Frank Welker (Fred Jones/Scooby Doo) as Nibbler, Tom Kenny (SpongeBob Squarepants) as Fry’s brother Yancy, Mark Hamill, Stephen Hawking and most of the original cast of Star Trek.

  • What Are The Supporting Cast Of Harry Potter Doing Now?

    Image result for harry potter

You remember Harry Potter, right? Anyone who read children’s literature and watched films during the late 90s to early 2010s will surely recall the thrilling adventures of the Boy Who Lived and his friends in the Wizarding World.

After seven books and eight movies, Harry and his friends bid farewell (at least cinematically) in 2011, after a decade-long run of near annual run of a new Harry Potter film being released.

The three lead actors; Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) have all had continued success in their acting careers. Likewise, the movements of other cast members such as Tom Felton, Domhnall Gleeson or Robert Pattinson are widely known.

Let us step out of the spotlight for a second and think about some of the other characters and the actors who played them. Not necessarily the centre of attention but still have sizeable roles in the story.

They have a direct connection to the protagonist, Harry in this case, and help him in his journey.

    bonnie wright – ginny weasley

Image result for bonnie wright then and now

Then: Wright played Ginny Weasley, younger sister to Ron and – Spoiler Alert – eventual wife to Harry, in all eight films, with varying screen time in each appearance. Some of her most notable work in the series is in Chamber of Secrets and Half Blood Prince, the second and sixth movies.

Now: Wright graduated with a Bachelor’s from London College of Communication in 2012 and has since moved into directing. Her work in this field includes Separate We Come, Separate We Go which starred Potter co-star David Thewlis (Remus Lupin) and Medusa’s Ankles, with another Potter alumnus, Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) making an appearance.

James and oliver phelps – fred and george weasley

Image result for james and oliver phelps then and now

Then: Twins James and Oliver Phelps played Fred and George Weasley respectively in all eight films. Fred and George were the resident pranksters and older brothers to Ron as well as close friends of Harry.

Now: Since Potter ended, the Phelps Twins have largely continued to work as duo, in projects such as Danny and The Human Zoo. They also make frequent appearances at Harry Potter related conventions and events.

    matthew lewis – neville longbottom

Image result for matthew lewis then and now

Then: Lewis appeared in all eight films as Neville Longbottom, an endearingly shy and forgetful classmate of the main trio, coming into his own in the later films, especially Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Now: Lewis has starred in multiple television series including The Syndicate, Bluestone 42, Ripper Street and Girlfriends. His film roles include Me Before You and Terminal.

    Evanna lynch – luna lovegood

Image result for evanna lynch then and now

Then: Irish-born Lynch joined Harry Potter in its later years, appearing in the final four films between 2007 and 2011. Lynch had been a superfan of the books, having previously written to JK Rowling.

Now: Lynch appeared alongside the Phelps Twins in Danny and the Human Zoo while also starring in GBF, My Name is Emily and Madness Is The Method.

    alfred enoch – dean thomas

Image result for alfred enoch then and now

Then: Enoch starred in seven of the films (only missing Deathly Hallows Part 1) as Harry’s classmate Dean Thomas, a muggle-born West Ham supporter who later dates Ginny Weasley.

Now: Most notably, Enoch starred in the ABC series How To Get Away With Murder, opposite Viola Davis and produced by Shonda Rhimes. He has also appeared in Sherlock, Broadchurch, Mount Pleasant and Trust Me.

    devon murray – seamus finnigan

Image result for devon murray then and now

Then: Murray had an eight-film stint as Seamus Finnigan, an Irish-born half-blood wizard and fellow Gryffindor classmate to Harry and his friends.

    chris rankin – percy weasley

Image result for chris rankin then and now

Then: Rankin played yet another Weasley sibling; third-born, Head Boy Percy, who definitely stood out among his family… not always for the right reasons.

Now: Rankin has worked in production roles on Atlantis, Downton Abbey and Discovery Witches while also attending conventions related to Harry Potter.

    joshua herdman – gregory goyle

Image result for joshua herdman then and now

Then: What you may not know is that Herdman is one of the few cast members to appear in all eight films while portraying the same character throughout. (Dumbledore appeared in all eight played by different actors and Warwick Davis played multiple characters in all the films).

Now: Herdman is still acting, with roles in Marcella and the forthcoming Alex Rider series. He has also embarked on a career as a mixed martial artist.

    stanislav ianevski – viktor krum

Image result for stanislav ianevski then and now

    Image result for danielle panabaker

Danielle Panabaker has had a professional acting career in Hollywood for nearly twenty years. Due to this longevity, viewers likely know Panabaker from any number of roles she has previously played.

There were television guest roles on Malcolm In The Middle, Law and Order Special Victims Unit and Summerland.

Panabaker’s popularity grew after starring in a string of family films, such as Disney’s Stuck in the Suburbs (opposite Brenda Song) and Read It and Weep (along her sister Kay and Jason Dolley) as well as Yours, Mine and Ours.

In 2005, Panabaker appeared in what would be her first (but certainly not her last) foray into the superhero genre, having landed the female lead in Sky High, opposite Michael Angarano, Kurt Russell and Kelly Preston. Her character’s super power was the ability to control plants and vegetation.

For the next decade or so, Panabaker continued appearing in several films and television shows, Friday the 13th, Grimm, The Glades and Piranha 3DD to name just a few,

In 2014, Panabaker landed what has become her biggest television role to date — series regular Doctor Caitlin Snow on CW’s The Flash. She has starred on all six seasons thus far, being one of three cast members to have appeared in every episode to date.

For anyone familiar with DC Comics, you will recognise Caitlin’s name as the moniker of villainess Killer Frost, whom, spoiler alert, Panabaker has also portrayed in various guises since the second season.

Between the fourth and fifth seasons of The Flash, Panabaker participated in the Warner Bros Directors’ Workshop Program.

Following in the footsteps of co-star Tom Cavanagh (Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells), Panabaker ended up making her television directorial debut with episode 518 — ‘Godspeed’, centered on Jessica Parker Kennedy’s Nora-West Allen.

Most recently, Panabaker directed ‘Licence to Elongate‘, the sixth episode of season six, largely focused on Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) in a James Bond-style setting.

For those interested in staying in the loop with Danielle Panabaker, The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.

  • Actors Who Have Pursued Other Career Directions

    Image result for career success

Out of all the professions that exist, acting is probably among the most temporary. The rate and frequency of booking jobs depends on both an individual’s ability as well as having to prove they are a better fit than the other people auditioning against them.

With that in mind, some of the most well-known and beloved stars have stepped out of the limelight for their own reasons.

What does this mean? Well, first of all, it shows they are not fully reliant on acting to make their way in the world. They may have wanted to pursue other passions between jobs or simply decided acting was not for them anymore.

Either way, here are some examples.

    dylan sprouse – Brewmaster

Sprouse is best known for starring as mischievous Zack Martin in Disney’s Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Suite Life on Deck alongside his twin brother Cole, with other appearances including Big Daddy (with Adam Sandler) and roles in upcoming films including Roger Kumble’s After We Collided.

Three years after graduating from New York University, Sprouse opened All-Wise Meadery in Brooklyn, which, as you may have surmised, produces and sells the alcoholic beverage known as mead, which is brewed from honey.

    frankie muniz – race driver/musician

You may recognise Frankie Muniz from his seven season role on Malcolm In The Middle (as the titular character) or roles in films such as Agent Cody Banks.

Since Malcolm ended in 2006, Muniz has had an eclectic career which has included a stint as a race car driver as well as being the drummer for Kingsfoil.

More recently, Muniz co-hosted Dancing With The Stars Juniors with Jordan Fisher. They had both appeared in Season 25, with Fisher being crowned the winner and Muniz finishing in third place.

    reed alexander – journalist
