Fourteen days since I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here returned for its nineteenth series and another famous face has been sent packing.
On Sunday 1 December, Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell became the second participant to depart jungle life for the imminent luxury of the Palazzo Versace Hotel on the Australian Gold Coast.
Andrew entered the camp on Day 1, being partnered with Kate Garraway for initial challenges that saw the pair banished alongside four of their competitors to Snake Rock, the rougher camp.
Ultimately, he was a memorable presence throughout the 2019 run, shifting from being a light-hearted joker to nearly choking to death on a piece of meat. Andrew also had notable spats with fellow campmate, Arsenal legend Ian Wright, though these were resolved harmoniously.

With Andrew’s elimination, there are now ten remaining campmates vying to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle. They are: Olympian Caitlin Jenner, former footballer Ian Wright, newsreader Kate Garraway, radio DJ Roman Kemp, soap stars Jacqueline Jossa, Andy Whyment and Cliff Parisi, pop stars Nadine Coyle and Myles Stephenson as well as rugby star James Haskell.
