Dylan Minnette has played Clay Jensen, a leading character on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why since the show premiered in 2017.
Originally, he was one of two primary characters in the series (the other being Katherine Langford’s Hannah Baker).
Since the third season, however, Clay has emerged as the sole protagonist.

13 Reasons Why was far from the first acting job on Minnette’s resumé and this was part of the reason (no pun intended) that he was the right person to play Clay.
Throughout the three seasons, Clay has gone through unimaginable emotional turmoil and while a talented newcomer could have pulled this off, Minnette’s experience helped Clay’s heartbreak feel palpable.
Prior to landing the role, Minnette had worked with actors including Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jason Isaacs, Cherry Jones, Matthew Fox, Elizabeth Mitchell and Emilie de Ravin.

Not only did Minnette have the experience of working extensively, he also got to learn from older, very talented actors.
As Minnette was 20 at the time 13 Reasons Why was released, he had experience of playing teenage boys with emotional issues. His roles on shows such as Lost, Awake and Marvel’s Agents Of Shield are examples of this.
This recognisability also worked in Minnette’s favour. Since the audience is intended to root for Clay, it is much easier to connect with someone whose face you already recognise.

Overall, Minnette’s portrayal of the character has made Clay feel complex and well-rounded rather than just a male protagonist on a teen drama.
Being the main character, Clay interacts with almost everyone else and likewise, Minnette has onscreen chemistry with everyone he works closely with on 13 Reasons Why.
This includes his onscreen mother Lainie Jensen (Amy Hargreaves), foster brother Justin Foley (Brandon Flynn) as well as his friends, Tony Padilla (Christian Navarro), Jeff Atkins (Brandon Larracuente), Jessica Davis (Alisha Boe) and Tyler Down (Devin Druid), among others.
13 Reasons Why has completed filming its fourth season, which stars Dylan Minnette, Grace Saif, Christian Navarro, Alisha Boe, Brandon Flynn, Ross Butler, Miles Heizer, Devin Druid, Amy Hargreaves and Gary Sinise.
Kyle XY was a science-fiction series that aired on ABC Family (now Freeform) between 2006 and 2009, for three seasons.
Kyle (Matt Dallas), the title character, is an amnesiac, initially infantile-like teenage boy who wakes up naked in the woods one day. He is taken home by a social worker, Nicole Trager (Marguerite MacIntyre) and stays with her family.
Over the course of the series, Kyle learns more about his true origins which are not as straightforward as a normal individual’s.

In addition to Dallas and MacIntyre, the series also starred Bruce Thomas (Legally Blonde) as Stephen Trager, Nicole’s husband and Kyle’s father figure.
April Matson (Quintuplets) and Jean-Luc Bilodeau (Baby Daddy) played Lori and Josh, Nicole and Stephen’s teenage children and Kyle’s de-facto siblings. Chris Olivero played Declan, Lori’s on-off love interest and Kyle’s close friend. Kirsten Prout appeared as Amanda Bloom, the Tragers’ neighbor and Kyle’s love interest. Future Blindspot and Thor star Jaimie Alexander starred as the mysterious Jessi from the second season onwards.

The third season ended on a cliffhanger with antagonist Michael Cassidy (Hal Ozsan) revealing to Kyle that they are genetic brothers.
As the series was cancelled and not picked up for a fourth season, the ramifications of this revelation were never explored or explained.

Regardless, with or without Kyle XY, many of the cast, both regular and recurring, have continued on with successful acting careers.
Some examples include…
Between 2009 and 2017, Marguerite MacIntyre had a recurring role as Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes on The Vampire Diaries.
Jean-Luc Bilodeau had a six season run on the sitcom Baby Daddy. Matt Dallas guest-starred in multiple episodes while Bruce Thomas appeared in one.
Jaimie Alexander has played the Asgardian Sif in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for both film and television projects. She has also starred as lead character Remi Briggs in the NBC crime drama Blindspot since 2015.
The world of Zzyzx, Latnok and no bellybuttons may be long behind them, but this cast are doing just fine.
Fans have gotten to know and love Barry Allen for six seasons on The Flash.
While the character’s life has been explored in intimate detail, less is known about Grant Gustin, the actor who has played Barry since 2013 on Arrow before speeding over to his own show the following year.
Read on to find out more about the man behind Central City’s favourite speedster.

For starters, Grant Gustin isn’t even the actor’s real name. At least, not his full one. As reported by WhatCulture, The Flash star was born Thomas Grant Gustin.
Speaking of his birth, there are two important coincidences. The location; Norfolk, Virginia and the year, 1990.
Gustin’s future Flash co-star John Wesley Shipp (Henry Allen/Jay Garrick) was also born in Norfolk, VA and began playing Barry Allen in an earlier iteration of The Flash in 1990. The series only lasted for a season.

Gustin attended Eion University in North Carolina for two years. During this time, he met fellow future Arrowverse actor Chris Wood, who played Mon-El on Supergirl.
While still a High School student, Gustin appeared in multiple science-based videos for NASA KSNN.
Prior to landing the role of Barry Allen, Gustin’s best-known role was Sebastian Smythe, a conniving Dalton Academy Warbler on Glee. Fellow cast members from this show, including Melissa Benoist, Victor Garber, Darren Criss and Max Adler have also appeared on Flash.
Between September 2010 and September 2011, Gustin starred in a Broadway Revival Tour of West Side Story, where he played Baby John. He would leave this tour to join Glee.

In December 2018, Gustin married his girlfriend, physical therapist Andrea ‘LA’ Thoma, who is from a Malaysian background. Thoma has attempted to teach Malay to Gustin.
Now in the sixth season of The Flash, Gustin has appeared in other projects during the run including the 2017 film Krsytal which also featured Nick Robinson (Love, Simon) and was directed by William H. Macy (Shameless).
In 2018, Gustin appeared in the short film Tom and Grant with his Flash co-star Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne).

10 Things You Didn’t Know About Once Upon a Time’s Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook)
Actor Colin O’Donoghue starred as Captain Hook in ABC’s Once Upon A Time for six seasons, joining the cast in season two.
Over the course of Hook’s time in series, he evolved from a selfish, bloodthirsty villain to a trusted ally of the main characters.
Since O’Donoghue was playing a character and not representing himself, less is known about the actor compared to Hook.
Read on for ten things about Colin O’Donoghue that you may not have known. Unless you are a #CaptainSwan shipper of course.
He’s Irish

When playing Hook, O’Donoghue used a different accent than the one he has in real life. This may come a surprise to those who are familiar with how the character sounds.
While Killian Jones’ background is ambiguous, O’Donoghue’s is very clear as he hails from a town called Drogheda, located in County Louth, Ireland.
He’s Been Married For A Long Time

On Once Upon A Time, Hook is seen having various romances throughout the series and a reputation as a womaniser is implied.
Some of Hook’s flames include Emma Swan, the Savior (Jennifer Morrison) and Milah (Rachel Shelley), the former wife of Rumplestiltskin.
In real life, O’Donoghue has been married to his wife Helen since 2009, two years before he even joined Once Upon A Time.
He Replaced A ‘Game Of Thrones’ Star In A Role

As reported by Deadline in July 2019, O’Donoghue was cast as Lt. Gordon Cooper in The Right Stuff for National Geographic. The cast also includes Patrick J. Adams, Jake McDorman and Patrick Fischler.
However, O’Donoghue was not the original person cast as Cooper.
A month earlier, former Game of Thrones star Joe Dempsie (Gendry) was reported to have been cast in the role. However, Dempsie was forced to leave the series to visa-related problems.
He Was A Younger Than Average Captain Hook

O’Donoghue was cast in the role of Hook in August 2012, making him aged 31 at the time. This is considerably younger than other live-action actors who have played the role.
Jason Isaacs, who starred in a 2003 feature film of Peter Pan, was almost a decade older, at 40 years old.
Meanwhile, Dustin Hoffman, who played the title role in Hook, was in his mid-fifties.
Not Always A Major Character

When O’Donoghue was cast as Hook, the character was to be a recurring guest throughout the second season. Alongside Cora (Barbara Hershey), he was one of the main antagonists to the heroes in the Enchanted Forest.
However, prior to O’Donoghue even appearing onscreen, the actor was promoted to series regular from October 2012.
He would retain this status for the rest of the series’ run.
He’s Worked With Anthony Hopkins

Before joining Once Upon A Time, O’Donoghue starred in the 2011 film The Rite. He played the role of Michael Kovak, a novice priest.
Also among the cast was acclaimed actor, Sir Anthony Hopkins.
Hopkins is perhaps best-known for his role as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs and also portrayed Robert Ford in the first two seasons of Westworld.
He’s Three Years Older Than Andrew J. West

At the end of season six and into season seven, Walking Dead alum Andrew J. West joined the cast of Once Upon A Time, initially in a mystery role.
West was later revealed to be playing an older Henry Mills (previously Jared S. Gilmore), a character centuries younger than Hook, no matter which realm.
In real life, however, West is only three years younger than O’Donoghue.
Only Non Original To Remain For Season 7

Ahead of seven season of Once Upon A Time, it was announced that multiple cast members would be leaving the series.
This included Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan), Josh Dallas (Prince Charming) and Jared S. Gilmore (Henry Mills), all of whom had been with the series since the pilot.
Longtime stars Emilie de Ravin (Belle) and Rebecca Mader (Zelena).
Only three series regulars from season six continued into season seven: O’Donoghue, Lana Parrilla (Regina Mills) and Robert Carlyle (Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin).
Of the trio, O’Donoghue was the only one who had not debuted in the pilot episode.
Had A Reunion On Once

In Hook’s early episodes, he and Cora are actively in competition with the heroic characters in the Enchanted Forest: Emma, Snow/Mary Margaret, Mulan (Jamie Chung) and Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger).
O’Donoghue and Bolger, who is also Irish, had previously worked together on the historical fiction series The Tudors, three years earlier.
Reunited With Ginnifer Goodwin (in a way)

In the series finale of Once Upon A Time, multiple former cast members returned, including Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas and Jennifer Morrison.
However, after the series wrapped, O’Donoghue would go on to work with Goodwin again… only they shared no scenes.
Each were cast in Dolly Parton’s Netflix anthology series Heartstrings.
O’Donoghue appeared as outlaw JJ Sneed in the episode of the same name while Goodwin played lawyer Genevieve Carson in the following episode, “These Old Bones.”
Animation, as an art form, offers actors a new type of challenge. Using only their voices, they are tasked with bringing cartoon characters to life in a way that viewers could almost believe they were seeing real people.
While some actors are solely voice performers, such as the likes of Frank Welker, Billy West, John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille and many others, some actors known for live-action work occasionally head into the booth.
Read on to find out about ten well-known live-action actors who have voiced cartoon characters.
Tia Carrere (Lilo and Stitch)

Hawaiian-born Tia Carrere is known for playing Cassandra Wong in the two Wayne’s World films and appearing in General Hospital.
Carrere has ventured into reality television, starring on Dancing With The Stars and The Celebrity Appearance.
In 2002, Carrere voiced Nani Pelekai, older sister of the female title character in the animated feature Lilo and Stitch.
She would go on to reprise this role in subsequent straight-to-DVD movies as well as a television series.
Will Friedle (Kim Possible)

Will Friedle played the eccentric, dimwitted older brother Eric Matthews for all seven seasons of Boy Meets World, a live-action sitcom.
Since that series ended in 2000, Friedle has mainly focused on voice acting.
One of his best known projects in terms of vieweship is Kim Possihle, in which Friedle voiced the title character’s best friend/sidekick/love interest, Ron Stoppable.
Drew Barrymore (Family Guy)

Barrymore famously starred in ET: The Extra Terrestrial as a child actress and has appeared in other films such as Scream, Charlie’s Angels, Donnie Darko and Fever Pitch, to name just a few.
Between 2017 and 2019, she starred on the Netflix horror-comedy series Santa Clarita Diet.
Since 2005, Barrymore has been a recurring guest voice on Family Guy, where she has voiced Jillian Russell, the airheaded ex-girlfriend of Brian Griffin.
Patrick Warburton (The Emperor’s New Groove)

Patrick Warburton is known for numerous live-action films and television series.
Some examples include Seinfeld, Rules of Engagement, The Tick, Ted, A Series Of Unfortunate Events and Scream 2.
In 2000, Warburton first voiced Kronk in the animated feature The Emperor’s New Groove. He also played Kronk in the spin-off television series, The Emperor’s New School, between 2006 and 2008.
Christy Carlson Romano (Kim Possible)

Christy Carlson Romano is no stranger to Disney, having starred in the sitcom Even Stevens (alongside a young Shia LaBeouf) between 2000 and 2003.
In 2002, Romano starred alongside fellow Disney sitcom star Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire) as well as Shawn Ashmore in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Cadet Kelly.
Between 2002 and 2007, Romano voiced the title character on Kim Possible.
Kevin McDonald (Lilo and Stitch)

Canadian comedian Kevin McDonald is known for the sketch series The Kids In The Hall, which aired from 1988-1995.
McDonald has guest-starred in a number of sitcoms including Friends, Ellen and That 70s Show.
In the world of animation, McDonald is known for being the voice of Wendy Pleakley in Lilo and Stitch.
Ashley Johnson (Recess)

Ashley Johnson has had a successful acting career, both as a child and an adult.
She has starred in the sitcom Growing Pains (1990-1992) and the crime drama Blindspot (2015-present), playing Patterson in the latter.
Although known for providing the voice of Ellie in the video game The Last Of Us, Johnson’s breakthrough animation role came much earlier.
Between 1997-2001, Johnson voiced Gretchen Grundler on Recess, reprising the role in the feature film and various straight-to-DVD movies.
Kelsey Grammer (The Simpsons)

Kelsey Grammer is perhaps best known for playing Frasier Crane in the long-running, classic NBC sitcoms Cheers and Frasier.
However, since 1990, Grammer has provided the recurring voice of Sideshow Bob, Bart Simpson’s nemesis in The Simpsons.
As a side-note, one of Grammer’s appearances on The Simpsons featured the introduction of Sideshow Bob’s father and brother.
The characters were played by John Mahoney and David Hyde Pierce respectively, who filled the same roles to Grammer’s character on Frasier.
Lacey Chabert (Family Guy)

Chabert starred as Claudia Salinger on Party Of Five between 1994-2000.
Other early roles include appearances on All My Children as well as featuring in films such as Lost In Space, Daddy Day Care and Not Another Teen Movie.
Between 1999-2000, Chabert was the original, uncredited voice of Meg Griffin on Family Guy during the first season. Complications with scheduling on Party of Five as well as needing to focus schoolwork led to her exit.
Chabert’s voice has been featured in archived recordings in situations such as flashbacks or when Stewie Griffin has time-travelled.
Andrew Lawrence (Recess)

Andrew Lawrence has appeared in multiple projects as a child and adult. These include the series Brotherly Love (with his real-life brothers, Joey and Matthew Lawrence).
Lawrence has also appeared in Disney Channel Original Movies such as The Other Me and Jumping Ship, starred in Oliver Beene and has had guest star roles on Hawaii Five-0 and Melissa and Joey (which starred his brother Joey).
Between 1998-2001, Lawrence became the second voice of TJ Detweiler on Recess after the original actor, Sleepless In Seattle‘s Ross Malinger, went through puberty.
Lawrence, like Ashley Johnson, reprised the role in the 2003 feature film School’s Out as well as some direct-to-DVD movies before he too went through puberty and could no longer play TJ.
LOST first premiered over fifteen years ago. During its six years on ABC, the show’s regular cast, which included Evangeline Lilly, Maggie Grace, Jorge Garcia, Josh Holloway, Ian Somerhalder and Daniel Dae Kim, were able to showcase their talent that led to future opportunities.
With the many flashbacks that took place before the events on the Island, many other actors played relatives, friends, rivals or even lovers of 815 survivors.
Some of these people are recognisable names who went on to achieve fame in more bigger, more notable roles.
Read on to find out more about these ten lucky actors.
Zelijko Ivanek – Madam Secretary

On LOST, Ivanek played Edmund Burke, Juliet’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) ex-husband and former boss.

MC Gainey – Justified

Gainey played Tom Friendly, a member of The Others and one of the show’s few confirmed non-heterosexual characters, during the first four seasons across multiple episodes.
While Tom was an imposing villain, he pales when compared to the likes of Benjamin Linus or even the Smoke Monster version of John Locke.
In 2010, Gainey landed the role of Bo Crowder, one of the first season’s main antagonists, on Justified.
Nathan Fillion – Castle

On LOST, Fillion played Kevin Callis, a police officer who married Kate (Evangeline Lilly) while she was under a false name.
Previously, Fillion had appeared in the cult science-fiction series Firefly, as Captain Malcolm ‘Mal’ Reynolds.
From 2009 to 2016, Fillion played Richard Castle on ABC’s Castle. The character was a crime novelist who shadowed the NYPD.

His character was the son of Jack (Matthew Fox) and Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) as well as the nephew of Claire (Emilie de Ravin), who only existed in the flash-sideways timeline and not in the “real” events.

Greg Grunberg – Heroes

Grunberg, a longtime friend and collaborator of LOST co-creator JJ Abrams, appeared in the pilot episode as 815 flight pilot Seth Norris.
Abrams has cast Grunberg in many other projects, including Felicity, Alias and the recent Star Wars films.
Two years after appearing on LOST, Grunberg landed the role of police officer Matt Parkman on the NBC series Heroes. He would reprise this role in 2015 for Heroes Reborn.
Kim Dickens – Fear The Walking Dead

On LOST, Dickens played Cassidy, who was the mother of Sawyer’s (Josh Holloway) child, Clementine Philips.
Cassidy was also an acquaintance of Kate Austen, who was once again using a false name.
For the first four seasons, Dickens played the leading role of Madison Clark on the AMC series Fear The Walking Dead, before the character was killed off.
Patrick J. Adams – Suits

Canadian-born Adams played Peter Talbot, a man who had tracked down John Locke (Terry O’Quinn), in a guest appearance on LOST.
Peter was concerned that John’s father Anthony Cooper (Kevin Tighe) – who Peter only thought was someone John had donated a kidney to – was exploiting his mother financially.
After John mentioned this conversation to his father, Peter later showed up dead.
In real life, Adams landed the role of fraudulent lawyer Mike Ross on Suits, which ran from 2011 to 2019. Adams himself exited as a main cast member after seven seasons and returned for the finale.
Dean Norris – Breaking Bad

While guest-starring on LOST during season five, Norris played Howard Gray, a grieving father who hired Miles Straume (Ken Leung) to communicate with his late son.
In 2008, after playing a long succession of law enforcement roles, Norris landed the role of DEA agent Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad, playing the role for five seasons as the show became one of the most critically acclaimed of all time.
Norris had also appeared alongside future co-star Bryan Cranston in 2006’s Little Miss Sunshine although the two did not personally share scenes with each other.
LOST starred an ensemble cast, including Matthew Fox, Emilie de Ravin, Naveen Andrews, Jorge Garcia, Elizabeth Mitchell, Henry Ian Cusick, Michael Emerson, Terry O’Quinn and Daniel Dae Kim.
Once Upon A Time: Other Projects Where You’ve Seen (or Heard) 13 Cast Members

Lee Arenberg (Grumpy)

Lee Arenberg played the dwarf Grumpy and his Storybrooke counterpart Leroy for over fifty episodes of Once Upon A Time as well as an appearance in Once Upon A Time In Wonderland. This makes him the series’ most frequently appearing guest-star.
Before landing this role, Arenberg was known for playing Pintel in the Pirates of The Caribbean film series, opposite Mackenzie Crook’s Ragetti.
He has also appeared on Disney’s Good Luck Charlie, American Gods on Starz and Showtime’s Californication.
Rebecca Mader (Zelena/Wicked Witch Of The West)

Mader joined the cast of Once Upon A Time in its third season, as the infamous Wicked Witch of the West. She was the main antagonist for that season’s second half.
Prior to this, Mader had played Charlotte Lewis on Lost, which Once Upon A Time co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz had written for.
In 2013, Mader had a small role in the Marvel Studios film Iron Man 3. She also starred in Work It, a short-lived comedy series on ABC.
Michael Socha (Will Scarlet)

Socha starred as Will Scarlet, one of Robin Hood’s Merry Men, in the fourth season of Once Upon A Time from 2014 to 2015.
He’d previously played the same character in the spin-off Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, which lasted for a single season.
Prior to appearing on either of these shows, Socha appeared in the This Is England series. Later, he appeared in the BBC miniseries World At War.
Meghan Ory (Ruby/Red Hiding Hood)

Meghan Ory’s Red Riding Hood (or Ruby as she’s known in Storybrooke) appeared regularly in the early seasons of Once Upon A Time but became a less frequent presence as the show went on in its later years.
Ory starred in the short lived espionage series Intelligence opposite Josh Holloway. Currently, she stars as Abby O’Brien in Chesapeake Shores.
She has also appeared as Hannah Lee in NCIS: New Orleans and in the Hallmark film The Memory Book.
Sean Maguire (Robin Hood)

Maguire joined Once Upon A Time in season three as the show’s second iteration of Robin Hood, taking over from future Lucifer star Tom Ellis.
As a young actor, Maguire starred for Aidan Brosnan in the BBC soap opera EastEnders for a year, in 1993.
He has also starred in two short-lived US sitcoms; Eve and The Class.
In 2020, Maguire played The Dark King in the fifth and final season of The Magicians.
Emilie De Ravin (Belle)

De Ravin made her debut as Belle during the first season of Once Upon A Time. She became a series regular from the second season onwards.
Although born in Australia, De Ravin was no stranger to American television. She had already appeared in the original Roswell series as well as five of Lost’s six seasons.
In 2010, De Ravin starred opposite Robert Pattinson in Remember Me.
Michael Raymond-James (Neal/Baelfire)

Raymond-James’ Neal Cassidy entered Once Upon A Time in the second season. He was subsequently revealed as Emma Swan’s past lover, Henry Mills’ biological father and the adult Baelfire, Rumplestiltskin’s son.
Already an established actor, Raymond-James starred as Rene in the firsr season of True Blood and later as Mitch Longo in the first season of Tell Me A Story.
He also starred in the NBC thriller Game Of Silence, which ran for a single season.
Colin O’Donoghue (Killian ‘Hook’ Jones)

O’Donoghue set sail on Once Upon A Time in season two, as the legendary Peter Pan villain Captain Hook, with the new name of Killian Jones.
A year earlier, Donoghue starred as a priest, Michael Kovak, opposite Anthony Hopkins in The Rite.
During the show’s run, he starred in Carrie Pilby, a 2016 comedy-drama film. He also played Peter in the post-apocalyptic thriller What Still Remains.
More recently, he portrayed JJ Sneed in an episode of Dolly Parton’s anthology series Heartstrings.
Lana Parrilla (Regina Mills)

Lana Parrilla was one of only two cast members to maintain her starring status in all seven seasons of Once Upon A Time, where she played Mayor Regina Mills and the Evil Queen.
Years earlier, Parrilla had briefly been a regular on 24 and guest-starred in Lost as a character named Greta.
Other past series regular jobs include runs on Spin City and Boomtown, which lasted a year each.
Robert Carlyle (Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold)

Carlyle also remained on Once Upon A Time, playing a myriad of characters which included multiple versions of Rumplestiltskin, his Storybrooke counterpart Mr. Gold and Weaver in the final season.
Scottish-born Carlyle is well-known for his roles in two 1990s films; Trainspotting (1996) and The Full Monty (1997), both of which are considered cult classics.
Just prior to joining Once Upon A Time, Carlyle played a scientist, Nicholas Rush, for two seasons on Stargate Universe before the show was cancelled.
Josh Dallas (Prince Charming/David Nolan)

Dallas, who played the heroic Prince Charming/David Nolan, completed his acting training in England. This experience as well as time afterwards amounted to eleven years across the pond, during which time he added Doctor Who to his resumé.
After returning to the United States, he played Fandral in the first Thor film. Commitments to Once Upon A Time prevented a return in the sequels.
In 2016, Dallas lent his voice to a pig in Zootopia, which starred a certain someone in his life.
Since 2018, Dallas has starred as Ben Stone in the NBC series Manifest.
Ginnifer Goodwin

Goodwin played heroine Snow White and her counterpart, school teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard, as part of the main cast for the first six seasons of Once Upon A Time. She later appeared as a guest in the series finale.
Between 2006 and 2011, Goodwin played Margene Heffman, one of three wives to Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton) in the HBO series Big Love.
During Once Upon A Time‘s run, she also provided the voice of Judy Hopps, the lead character in 2016’s Zootopia, a Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
Since leaving Snow White behind, Goodwin has also portrayed Beth Ann Stanton on Why Women Kill and Genevieve Carson in Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, in a different episode to Colin O’Donoghue.
Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan)

Jennifer Morrison brought Emma Swan – The Savior herself – to Storybrooke and, indeed, to life.
However, prior to Once, Morrison had just completed a stint on another long-running series; House. She played Dr. Allison Cameron for the first six seasons and returned a guest thereafter.
Between House and Once Upon A Time, Morrison guest-starred as Zoey Pierson, Ted Mosby’s (Josh Radnor) latest love interest during the sixth season of How I Met Your Mother.
In 2011, Morrison starred in the MMA-based film Warrior, alongside Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, Nick Nolte and Frank Grillo.
Next: Could Any ‘Once Upon A Time’ Alumni join Josh Dallas on NBC’s ‘Manifest’ ?
Although Once Upon A Time and Manifest have very different storylines, they do share a few things in common.
Firstly, despite having fantastical elements, real-world family drama plays a major role as a contrast. Perhaps a more obvious commonality is actor Josh Dallas.
Dallas played David Nolan/Prince Charming on Once Upon A Time for six seasons, returning for the seventh season finale. He has played Ben Stone on Manifest since late 2018.
That being said, stars of former shows reuniting on different projects is nothing new. Cornelius Smith Jr. recently joined former Scandal co-star Joe Morton’s CBS series God Friended Me. Freaks and Geeks castmates Jason Segel and Martin Starr reunited on How I Met Your Mother.

So, could anyone from Once Upon A Time join Manifest?
Theoretically, yes. Most of the major cast members are not tied down to television shows, which makes their schedules more open than they were as recently as three years ago.
Of course, the most obvious choice to appear would be Ginnifer Goodwin. Not only did she play Snow White opposite Dallas’ Prince Charming on Once, the two also married and had two children in real life.
Dallas and Goodwin have previously said that they are looking for ways in which the latter could guest star on Manifest. The fun would be whether she plays someone that her husband’s character knows, or a stranger. Friend or foe?

Aside from Goodwin, other Once Upon A Time cast members whom Dallas worked closely with include Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan), Lana Parrilla (Regina Mills/Evil Queen), Jared S. Gilmore (Henry Mills), Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook) and Robert Carlyle (Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin).
Then, of course, there are the wildcards such as Sean Maguire (Robin Hood), Emilie de Ravin (Belle), Rebecca Mader (Zelena/Wicked Witch of the West) and Michael Raymond-James (Baelfire/Neal Cassidy).
Since Once Upon A Time ended, Morrison has recurred on This Is Us as army veteran Cassidy Sharp in what appears to be a major recurring role. However, this show is on the same network as Manifest so a Morrison appearance could be made possible if necessary.
Michael Raymond-James is also heading to NBC with his new pilot La Brea. Who’s to say that he couldn’t drop in on his former co-star Josh Dallas?
Whether anyone will brave the tumultuous lives of the Flight 828 remains to be seen. Any reunion would surely be poignant for fans of Once Upon A Time.
Manifest airs Mondays on NBC.
