Former Boy Meets World actress Trina McGee (who played Angela on the long-running sitcom) has spoken out about racial abuse she received from her castmates.
McGee’s character Angela was the only African-American main character on Boy Meets World during its run and was featured in a relationship with Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong), one of the four primary characters of the series.
She appeared in sixty episodes overall.

In one tweet, McGee confirmed that Strong was not one of those involved in the racist behaviour although other main actors were.

McGee further outlined some of the other instances that this occurred.

Apart from knowing that Rider Strong had no part, little is unknown regarding the identities of the ringleaders. However, further comments from McGee indicate that the older actors; William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), Betsy Randle (Amy Matthews) and William Russ (Alan Matthews) were not involved, due to comments not applying to them.

This leaves Ben Savage (Cory Matthews), Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews), Matthew Lawrence (Jack Hunter) and Maitland Ward (Rachel McGuire) still in the frame.
As of writing, none of the cast members have publicly responded to McGee’s tweets.
