Two new faces have joined the fray for Reacher season 3.
Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy will be joining the hit show as series regulars.
They join returning star Alan Ritchson, who plays the title character, as well as Maria Sten as Frances Neagley.
The third season adapts the seventh Jack Reacher novel, titled Persuader which sees the titular hero working with the DEA to bring down a suspected drug smuggler.
Hall starred in a trifecta of John Hughes films, including playing Brian Johnson in The Breakfast Club.
He will take on the role of Zachary Beck, “a formidable and successful businessman” who is on Reacher’s radar as he suspects widower Beck’s rug import company is a front for a more nefarious operation.
Beck is also a father to 20-year-old son, Richard.
Aside from his film roles, Hall’s TV credits include The Goldbergs, Community, Warehouse 13 and Murder In The First.
Cassidy will portray Sarah Duffy, an intelligent and tough DEA agent from Boston who possesses a sharp, sarcastic sense of humour.
British-born Cassidy’s credits include Midsomer Murders, The Woman In White and The Last Kingdom.
In addition, she had a main role as Liz Dudley in the short-lived, critically acclaimed AMC comedy-drama Lodge 49, opposite Wyatt Russell.
Reacher season 3 is currently filming in Toronto.
The second season aired on Prime Video between December 2023 and January 2024.
It featured supporting roles from Serinda Swan, Shaun Sipos, Ferdinand Kingsley and Robert Patrick.
Meanwhile, season 1 featured Malcolm Goodwin and Willa Fitzgerald in major roles.
The show’s renewal was announced in December 2023, shortly before season 2 premiered.
Additionally, Nick Santora, who adapted Reacher for television, returns as showrunner for season 3.
Other executive producers include author Lee Child, Don Granger and star Alan Ritchson, among others.
