The month of March can mean many things to many different people. To some, it may represent such significant events as St. Patrick’s Day, International Women’s Day or even Pi Day for the Mathematicians among us. It may also be when you celebrate your birthday. If that’s the case, this is the article for you! Here are 10 Celebrity Birthdays, all from the third month of the calendar year. Find out who shares your birth month!

Catherine O’Hara -March 4th

Born on March 4th, the Canadian actress/comedian Catherine O’Hara is perhaps best known for her performance as extravagant matriarch Moira Rose on acclaimed sitcom Schitt’s Creek (2015-2020), for which she scooped up a Primetime Emmy Award for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

O’Hara is also recognisable for playing Kevin McAllister’s mother in the first two Home Alone films, as well as her background in sketch comedy Second City Television (SCTV), where one of her co-stars was future Schitt’s Creek co-creator/on-screen husband, Eugene Levy.

Patricia Heaton – March 4th

Patricia Heaton is best known for her long-running sitcom roles on Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle, as Debra Barone and Frankie Heck, respectively. Both shows ran for a total of nine seasons.

Heaton was born on March 4th and starred in the short-lived CBS comedy Carol’s Second Act. She was also recently cast in The Unbreakable Boy, opposite Twilight’s Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen).

Kevin Connolly – March 5th

Kevin Connolly found success early in his acting career, by appearing in 100 episodes of The WB (now The CW) sitcom Unhappily Ever After, as series regular ‘Ryan Malloy’. His co-stars included Geoff Pierson and Justin Berfield.

Connolly, who was born on March 5th, is of course much better known for being one of the leads on Entourage, a HBO comedy-drama which aired between 2004-2011.

Bryan Cranston – March 7th

Before playing the career-defining role of Walter White/Heisenberg on AMC’s crime drama Breaking Bad, actor Bryan Cranston was primarily known for comedy. As for the Celebrity Birthdays list, Cranston’s falls on March 7th.

Among other roles, Cranston starred as hapless father Hal on Malcolm in The Middle for seven seasons between 2000-2006. He also recurred on Seinfeld and How I Met Your Mother.

Jenna Fischer – March 7th

Jenna Fischer played receptionist-turned saleswoman-turned office administrator Pam Beesly Halpert on The Office for nine seasons. Since 2019, Fischer and former co-star Angela Kinsey have hosted Office Ladies, a weekly rewatch podcast dedicated to the series.

Born on March 7th, Fischer’s career has also included film roles in Blades of Glory, Walk Hard and Brad’s Status, among others.

William H. Macy – March 13th

Since 2011, William H. Macy has played alcoholic patriarch Frank Gallagher in Showtime’s Shameless. Based on a British series of the same name, Macy’s show has equalled the length of its counterpart, currently running for 11 seasons. Macy was born on March 13th.

His career has also included an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in his role as Jerry Lundegaard in Fargo (1996), written, produced and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

Victor Garber – March 16th

Born on March 16th, Victor Garber’s most significant television role is perhaps Alias (2001-2006). On the spy drama, Garber portrayed Jack Bristow, father of lead character Sydney (Jennifer Garner). Garber also had a supporting role in Titanic (1996) as Thomas Andrews, the doomed ship’s builder.

Fans of The CW’s Arrowverse may recognise Garber more recently for his role as Professor Martin Stein, which he played for three years. He was featured most prominently on The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Lily Collins – March 18th

Next on our list of Celebrity Birthdays is a second-generation performer. Born on March 18th, actress Lily Collins is the daughter of Genesis musician Phil Collins.

She is perhaps most recognisable at the moment for her leading title role in the Netflix series Emily in Paris.

Collins has also appeared in films including The Blind Side, Mirror Mirror, Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.

Nick Robinson – March 22nd

Nick Robinson co-starred on ABC Family’s sitcom Melissa and Joey opposite Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence, between 2010-2014. Recently, he returned to television with a leading role in FX miniseries A Teacher, alongside Kate Mara.

Robinson, whose birthday falls on March 22nd, has expanded his career with feature films in Jurassic World, Love Simon and Native Son. Robinson also currently produces the Hulu series Love Victor, a continuation of Love Simon. He also makes occasional voice and in-person appearances on the show.

Jessica Szohr – March 31st

Since 2018, Jessica Szohr has played the starring role of LT. Talla Keyali on The Orville, a science-fiction series created by Seth MacFarlane. A newcomer to the show’s cast, Szohr’s debut was in the second season.

Prior to this, Szohr starred in Gossip Girl as “Vanessa Abrams” between 2007-2012. Her other television appearances include Shameless, Kingdom and Twin Peaks.

Fittingly for the final entry of March Celebrity Birthdays, Szohr’s birthday falls at the very end of the month, on the 31st.
