Paralympic Gold Medallist Hollie Arnold MBE has become the first contestant evicted from I’m A Celebrity 2020.
After almost two weeks, paralympic athlete Hollie Arnold MBE became the first contestant to leave the 2020 series of I’m A Celebrity. After viewers had become accustomed to seeing 12 celebrities holing up in the show’s new Gwyrch Castle location in Wales, Hollie was eliminated in the conclusion of the episode airing on Friday, November 27.
Earlier today, The Independent had reported that Hollie Arnold had been among bookies favourites to leave in tonight’s episode. Before Ant and Dec revealed the identity of the axed celebrity, Hollie was one of the final two, alongside Ruthie Henshall.
Entering the castle on Day 1, Hollie leaves behind fellow campmates such as broasdcaster Vernon Kay, Coronation Street actress Beverley Callard EastEnders alums Shane Richie and Jessica Plummer, Olympic Gold medalist Mo Farah, BBC Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, BBC journalist Victoria Derbyshire, former Strictly pro AJ Pritchard, West End performer Ruthie Henshall, and operatic tenor Russell Watson.
During her time on the show, Arnold also took part in the “Wicked Waterways” Bushtucker Trial alongside former EastEnders actor Richie, winning just two of the available stars for camp.
In her exit interview with Ant and Dec, Arnold selected Jordan North as her preferred winner for the series, saying: “Jordan, because he’s so lovely.”
I’m A Celebrity 2020 will continue to air daily until the finale episode on December 4.
